To parents of any students who have had medications at school this year, or

trips....please plan to pick up the remaining medication and/or containers
Monday thru Thursday next week. After Thursday, any remaining medications
will be disposed of.

We have a two huge tables of LOST AND FOUND items....some closets at home
must have some empty hangers!!! Please come to the lobby and look over the
clothing. After Tuesday the items will be donated to Freeport Community
Services.

Contacting us during the summer.... the office will be manned on Tuesdays
only from June 24th thru August 19th.  Feel free to leave messages on the
main office phone at Extension 1. They will be answered or passed on to the
appropriate person when the office is open next. When the school is being
cleaned, staff can’t always get to their room or office phone to retrieve
messages. The best way to reach Beth Willhoite is by email at
Beth_Willhoite@coconetme.org, and Holly Couturier at
Holly_Couturier@coconetme.org.

Parents, please be checking your email (if you are on our email list) and
postal mail in mid-August for any updates and information about class
placements.

For many years the Soule Program has asked their students to
participate in the Sally Foster Gift Wrap Sale. The money raised (50 % of
all sales) goes directly to support student activities.  Next year, the
PTC has decided to have the students from all three programs participate in
the gift wrap sale. The Sally Foster products include gift wrap as well as
some small gifts. This year Sally Foster is featuring environmentally
friendly,recyclable and biodegradable products.
The sale will begin shortly after school starts so I would like you
all to put the following dates on your calendar - the sale will begin on
September 12th and will run until September 29th.  Products will be
delivered on November 5th.
In addition, I am looking for a parent to co-chair the fundraiser as
well as parents to help with data entry, sorting and sales. Please contact
me if you would like to volunteer or if you have any questions. I will be
in touch again at the beginning of school. Have a wonderful summer. Thank
you, Stephanie Paine

Last day of school celebrations have been planned for June 17th. All 5th
graders will assemble in the cafeteria at 9:05 a.m. for a joint program and
then separate into their individual programs to continue their celebration
exercises. Families are most welcome to join us. All students will be
dismissed at approximately 11:50. (There  is no school lunch on Tuesday.)

>From all the staff at MLS...to all our students and their families...we
wish you a healthy, happy summer.
